Why do safe, clean and accessible public toilets matter?
It is about human rights and dignity, public health and creating a liveable city.

Access to toilets is a universal need and a basic human right. Safe, clean and accessible public toilets are a health issue, and they are essential infrastructure to maintain a healthy and inclusive society. Despite their importance and benefits, toilets might be the most overlooked piece of essential public infrastructure risking the health, safety and dignity of the people who rely on them.
